What a fabulous Appleton weekend! So many champions. So many goals. So much cheering. So much laughing.

All celebrating Keliix, together in step as one, in Appleton.

The phrase “more than soccer” is thrown around so much, yet it is so fitting for Keliix. We are known for patient possession based soccer with the ball moving easily from yellow sock to yellow sock, but our two decade old All Club Tournament is the perfect example of “more than soccer”. Every team travels across state lines, together. What other soccer club does that? 9B families meeting 15B families. 17Gs watching 12G games. Sure, we can brag about those players we send to play Division I, II and III soccer, but every graduate is celebrated because every player means something to the club whether they have been with us for two years or ten years. Our coaches care about our players. Our administrators care about our players. Our volunteers care about our players. So after a generation of graduates, it is no wonder that these 90’s Keliix players are returning to this nurturing and development environment that is more than soccer for their kids.

Thanks to all the players, families, coaches, managers, administrators and especially the Appleton Committee and volunteers for such a wonderful weekend and reminder that at Keliix, we are more than soccer.
