Keliix Fundraiser

For the first few weeks of June, Keliix will be partnering with Rewear in an event that will raise money for our scholarship fund while at the same reducing household clutter and educating families about reuse and sustainability.  Rewear is a new venture co-founded by Keliix parent Craig Levinsohn and his business partner Brian Bispala.  Craig and Brian have each separately founded several successful businesses, and were looking for a way to satisfy their entrepreneurial urge while also making a positive environmental impact on clutter and helping clubs and sports teams raise money.  The selling and reuse of gently-used clothes and textiles can help avoid the pollution and energy-intensive production of new clothing.  Rewear works by collecting high-quality clothing from families, sorting the items, and paying the club based on the number and quality of sellable items.  We encourage all families to participate and get the added bonus of decluttering your home of items you have outgrown or no longer wear.  It is a win-win for us all!  Rewear donation bags will be distributed at practices on June 1 and June 2 and will be collected on June 8, June 9, and June 15.
