Keliix Intra is a private, traveling youth soccer club based in Minneapolis. Boys and girls ages 5 - 19 from Minneapolis and the surrounding metropolitan area have the opportunity to develop top-notch soccer skills while "growing-up" with the support of a unique community.  At Keliix we love soccer, yes, but we are more - we are a community of players, coaches, parents and family members bound together by a unique spirit - the Keliix Spirit!

The club was formed in 1991 as a fortunate turn of events led David Lawson, then coach of the South High School boys soccer team, to find the necessary ingredients for MYSA club formation - a field, a president, four teams and a referee coordinator.  With Blake as the Keliix home field, the teams started off practicing in New Hope, off Winnetka Avenue.  

By 2015, the club has grown to 22 teams.   Sean Baker a former Keliix player joined David as a full-time coach/trainer after playing soccer in college.  The club started having indoor winter training around 2000 at the newly constructed YWCA on Lake Street and the Susan B. Anthony school in Minneapolis.  Throughout the 2000's the club used a variety of outdoor locations for spring/summer training including parks in Edina and Minneapolis, Edina High School and community center.

One of the club's signature events is the "out-of-state tournament".  This annual tradition began in 2004 when David got the idea of having all the teams, coaches and parents travel for a weekend soccer tournament in Chicago.   This time-honored tradition has moved from Illinois to South Dakota to North Dakota to Wisconsin but the advantages and long-term benefits continue in many ways.  Time has proven this unique "all club" event to be unsurmmounted in team and community-building.
